Spanish Luxury Trains is a commercial booking service operated by Palace Tours for Spain's heritage luxury trains — the Al Andalus, El Transcantábrico Gran Lujo and Costa Verde Express. The trains themselves are owned and operated by Renfe (Trenes Turísticos de Lujo). By making an inquiry or booking through this website you agree to the terms below.

1. Bookings & confirmation

All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only once you receive written confirmation and, where applicable, payment has been received. Prices are quoted per person in euros (EUR) based on the occupancy selected and may change until a booking is confirmed.

2. Accuracy of information & itineraries

All journey information published on this website — including routes, itineraries, day-by-day programmes, departure dates, prices, cabin descriptions and inclusions — is provided in good faith and is accurate to the best of our knowledge at the time of publication. Routes and itineraries are determined by the rail operator (Renfe Trenes Turísticos de Lujo) and may change between seasons and occasionally during a season. The operator reserves the right to modify or substitute itineraries, excursions, visits and onboard activities at any time — including at short notice or on the day of travel — for operational, safety, weather, scheduling or other reasons, and such changes are at their discretion. The definitive, correct itinerary and final details for your specific departure will be provided to you based on our communication with the vendors and operators at the time of booking confirmation and final documentation, and those confirmed details prevail over any information shown on this website.

While we take reasonable care to keep this website accurate and up to date, we accept no liability for any errors, omissions, missing, outdated or misprinted information, including typographical or pricing mistakes. Such errors do not constitute a binding offer; the correct details confirmed in your booking documentation govern, and we reserve the right to correct any error at any time.

3. Prices & what's included

Published fares are all-inclusive of the services described for each journey (accommodation on board, meals as specified, guided excursions and listed inclusions). Items of a personal nature, travel to and from the point of departure, insurance and gratuities are not included unless expressly stated.

4. Payment

A deposit or full payment may be required to secure a reservation, as advised at the time of booking. Card payments are processed securely by our payment provider; we do not store full card details on our servers.

5. Changes & cancellations

Amendments and cancellations are governed by the conditions of the rail operator (Renfe Trenes Turísticos) and may incur charges that vary with how far in advance notice is given. We will share the applicable cancellation schedule with you before your booking is confirmed. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance.

6. Travel documents

You are responsible for holding valid passports, visas and any health documentation required for travel in Spain. Please ensure all passenger names match travel documents exactly.

7. Liability

As a distributor we act as an intermediary between you and the rail operator and suppliers. The carriage of passengers and luggage is subject to the operator's own conditions of carriage. Our liability is limited to the value of the services booked through us, to the extent permitted by law.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction of the operating company. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
